Open Position: Project Manager

Cluster Interactive is a web design and development agency located in Chicago and we are looking for an excellent open communicator who is able to understand our clients’ web goals, envision concrete pathways to solution, and drive the process through to launch. Ideal candidates should have concept-to-launch experience managing successful projects within specified timeframes and defined budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, and execute profitable projects from conception to launch
  • Create and execute project plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities
  • Set and manage client expectations
  • Serve as primary client interface for the duration of projects
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
  • Consistently monitor and report upon project progress
  • Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client
  • Effectively apply our methodology and enforce standards
  • Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships

Required Skills

  • Professional experience in one or more of the following: work in a design, development, or interactive agency; project management in a consulting firm or non-digital advertising agency; web, application, or software development
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable interfacing with clients and techies
  • Self-motivated and able to work efficiently
  • Strong business writing skills
  • Ability to delegate tasks in a conscientious and timely manner
  • Proficiency with MS Office products
  • Familiarity with Basecamp and other project management systems a plus
  • Technical writing skills a plus
  • Experience in web design/development a plus
  • Proven cat herder a BIG plus
